Edmund Jenks, Sr. (March 31, 1732 to November 19, 1816) - First born of Dr. John Jenks and Rachel Lawrence. He was born in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachussetts. He married Keziah Olney on January 4, 1756, in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Edmund served in Captain Ezra Whipple's Co., 1780. Pioneer settler in East Hoosuck, now Adams. On Staffore Hill is memorial to original settlers. He died in Adams, Berkshire County, Massachussetts on November 19, 1816. Some records say the day was the 29th.

 

Keziah Olney (1741 to January 29, 1792) Keziah was the daughter of Obadiah Olney (February 14, 1709/10 to March 17, 1798) and Lydia Hawkins. She and Edmund had nine children.
