John Henry Cleveland (October 25, 1845 to before 1910) - Born in Wisconsin, John Henry was the second born child of Royal Cleveland and Mary Miranda Warren. On the 1860 census the family resided in York, Dane, Wisconsin. John and Nancy are married on the 1870 census and living in Sun Prairie, Dane, Wisconsin. They subsequently were in Center, Smith, Kansas, by the 1880 census, and in Township 11, Fresno, California, by the 1900 census.

Nancy Knapp (1849 to Unknown) Nancy was born in Hopkinton, Saint Lawrence, New York, to George W. Knapp of Canada and Electa Unknown of Vermont. She was the fifth of seven children listed on the 1860 census. Together with her husband, John Henry, they had five children that lived to maturity.
